Exams are done and you can finally look forward to a long and deserving holiday. But before you sign off, bookmark this page. You’re going to need it when you join the NWU in 2022.
Here are all the important dates you need to know to start your journey as an NWU Eagle.
First year registration period
The registration process for first years will be from 25 January to 16 February. Remember that all registrations will be online.
After you have registered you will be invited to your campus of choice and the residence you have applied for. Only students who have successfully registered will be allowed on campus and can move into their residence. An orientation programme will be from 14 February to 26 February.
An introduction to first-year academic classes will also take place on 17 and 18 February which will be presented in a face-to-face and online mode in accordance with the prevailing COVID-19 conditions.
Then it is time to start your studies. The full academic programme will commence in person and online on 21 February. During the next four days, classes will be presented in the morning between 08:00–13:00 and the orientation programme will continue in the afternoon until 25 February. Full-time classes will start on 28 February.
