Imagine the world without animals. In our day-to-day lives they surround us. From being a food source, a pet companion, to assisting as part of our labour force. Animals form an integral part of our ecosystem, and it is of importance that we learn and understand the animals (and plants) that share the planet with us.
Our postgraduate degrees in Zoology, within the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, explore animal variety, their interaction with each other and the environment, as well as their structure and function.
Offering diverse qualifications in the fields of Environmental Management, Aquatic Ecosystem Health, Biodiversity & Conservation Ecology, and Geography among others; the NWU strives to equip students with knowledge and life skills that will enhance their careers.
